Hello World!
This is our first blog post. It’s Saturday, March 21st, 2020, and we are in Seattle — fortunately healthy and comfy in our new beautiful home (we moved in Oct 2019) — in the midst of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. In the current state of nation-wide “shut down” that we find ourselves in — where people are encouraged to stay at home to prevent the further spread of infection that could overwhelm our healthcare system — we are doing our best to cope. We’ve been trying to gather as much information as possible over these past 4 weeks as things have rapidly been changing day-to-day. To find respite from this chaos, we’ve been taking walks around our lovely neighborhood and the Washington Park Arboretum / UW Botanical Gardens that is across the street from our home. We’ve also been having fun cooking new recipes and keeping in touch with our loved ones.
We’ll use this blog to (1) post information we’ve found to be important in the context of this pandemic (and in our lives going forward), and (2) to share our fun adventures and some challenges we encounter along the way.
